Scott Williamson

Scott’s post-doc is using satellite remote sensing and climate model re-analysis products to understand patterns of atmospheric warming and albedo feedbacks in the Canadian Arctic

Scott completed his PhD at the University of Alberta in 2015.  His PhD project investigated snow albedo feedbacks related to snow mediated albedo declines around Mount Logan, Yukon. Between the end of a Master’s degree, which studied tidewater glacier calving on Agassiz Icecap (Nunavut), and the beginning of his PhD, Scott worked as a remote sensing analyst on an International Polar Year project.
